It's amazing that , in a way, they're still going strong! I was at sea when they first became popular and their songs always remind me of that rather romantic time!
Anything about the Beatles is fine by me. A great, informative post.
Hi!
Awesome "B"!! When they first came out I didn't like them that much. But as I got older I really liked their music. Thanks for all that info! Have a great day!!

I was a teeny bit too young to really get on the Beatles bandwagon, but I went to see Help! in the cinema.
" ... and our baby sister Marcia was George, because he was the only one left."
I loved that bit! LOL!
So you're a real Beatlesfan! Great post. Very informative.
Glad my bootsphoto was musically inspiring to you ;-)
Have to tell you that I was just searching the internet if I could find the image of a poster I used to have (a friend of my sister worked for a big cinemacompany and she gave us lots of moviephotos and -posters). Talking of about 30 years ago now. My mother threw everything away in a crazy springcleaning mood. Can't find it anywhere on the net, must have been a rare one too. I believe it was of Yellow Submarine or of Sgt. Peppers etc. Oh dear :-(
This was fascinating. I love that you could remember how much you paid for the albums! What a great memory you have! Thank you for this well written informative article. I loved it!
While I wasn't a huge Beatles fan when they first started recording, I did like their later works. Why don't you turn on a record (oops CD) and come over to warm up by my blazing fire. - Margy
I love this post and all the photos and info! I am also a Beatles fan. Great "B".
Best Beat ever!! Great B-post :)
Here's a bit of trivia. There is a mistake in one of their records Hey Jude.
If you listen very carefully you'll find that one of the fab four hits a wrong cord while somebody at the studio needs to use the restroom.
Hat tip to one of my Audio engineering relative.
I became a big fan at 13. Couldn't afford many of the albums at that time.
I was always a George girl. I'm surprised to think anyone thought Ringo was cute. Although he aged well, while Paul did not.
I still have my Beatles pencil case that I got for Christmas in 1964.
What a wonderfully nostalgic post, and a perfect B.
Thanks for the memories

I remember the Ed Sullivan Show, as well. What a time that was - those years seem so far removed from now (hmm, I guess they ARE). Loved the post and the reminiscing.
