My daughter has an old turn table and has bought a few old Beatles Records...you know the giant ones that we used to have. Apparently they have become cool again. She picked up Abbey Road for $2.00 at a second hand store!
It's kind of ironic that you are buying CD's and she's buying LP's.
I still have the old records and a record player. So I can hear them as often as I want! Wonderful!!
Hello, Roger. Thanks for your comment today. I like your blog, and will return!
Am a big Beatles fan, too, but no boxed sets...yet.

The beatles have entertain us with so many beautiful songs, it is like a walk down memory lane every time I see their picture.

That #9 song always freaks me out. I don't like the very last track of Sgt. Pepper's, either.
You truly are a Beatles fanatic! I was one of those crying, screaming young girls you see in the old tapes. I was lucky enough to have my parents take me to Chicago's Midway Airport so that I could climb on the cyclone fence and watch them land on their first trip here. We were probably within 75 feet and they waved TO ME!!! Their 2nd trip here I went with a fan club to see them at Comiskey Park (White Sox Park). There was so much screaming we probably didn't hear much of the concert! But I was lucky enough to be there!
