3 TV ?s

In honor of the Emmys this weekend, I decided some time ago on the topic of television. Then Lefty beat me to it, but I'm going to use it any. Of course, I'll ask some different stuff:

1. What show that went off the air in the past year will you miss the most? (The fact that it may now be in syndication or on DVD notwithstanding.)

2. What show did you use to like but keep watching out of habit, or in the vain hope that it'll get better?

3. What is your favorite show from your childhood (or now) that you would be embarrassed to acknowledge? (No one will see it here, so feel free to unburden yourself to ol' Ramblin'.)

1. NYPD Blue- it actually was better in the last year than it had been for the last couple. The addition of Currie Graham (Sela Ward's husband on House) really helped.

2. Monday Night Football. Some games are great, but so many are dogs.

3. (I was going to say My Mother the Car, but that ws only one season.) Gomer Pyle, USMC - same plot first season: Pyle confuses Sgt. Carter's screaming with the paternal love Gomer obviously missed as a child. Season two-Sgt. Carter finds ways to make money on Gomer's singing voice. Etc., etc.

1. I won't really miss anything that anyone else watched. They stopped doing new episodes of Trama Life in the E.R. this last year and I loved this show.

2. ER. I use to really love this show and now I watch it out of habit. What will they think of next?

3. I would have to say, "The Brady Bunch" I also love "Room Raiders" on MTV. I don't really know why but I do love them

1. Did Angel end last year, 'cause if so that would be my choice.

2. Smallville. Keep hoping it becomes more than monster of the week/weak melodrama, four seasons in, it hasn't.

3. I have a very special place in my heart for Plastic Man with Hula Hula.
